Tax Information

Last updated: June 2026

This page explains, in general terms, how taxes work for creators on Fanhaze. It is information, not tax advice — your obligations depend on where you live and your personal circumstances, so please consult a qualified tax professional.

Creators are responsible for their own taxes

As an independent creator, you are responsible for reporting your Fanhaze earnings and paying any income, self-employment, sales, or value-added taxes that apply to you. Fanhaze does not withhold income tax on your behalf unless the law requires it.

Tax information we may need from you

Depending on your location and earnings, we may be required to collect tax details before you can be paid — for example:

If we are required to collect this information and you do not provide it, we may be required to apply backup withholding or to pause payouts until it is supplied.

VAT, GST & sales tax

In some regions, tax must be charged to fans on digital purchases. Where Fanhaze or its payment partners are responsible for collecting and remitting that tax, it is added at checkout. Where you are responsible as the seller, you must account for it yourself.

Records

You can review your earnings in your creator dashboard. Keep your own records of income and expenses — they will help you (and your accountant) at tax time.

Questions

We can't give personal tax advice, but if you have a question about a tax form Fanhaze has asked for, reach our team through the Trust Center.
